游隙‧心迹 陳秋月個展

➤創作動機：
傳統與現代的糾纏，東方與西方的矛盾，媒材與媒材的包容與排他，
這些正是創作過程中不斷出現的疑問，也試著找到解決之道，並且測試自己的能耐，
同時也企圖在非現實空間的甜美深刻處，找到自己安身立命的處所。
The entanglement between tradition and modernity, the contradiction between the East and the West,
and the inclusion and exclusion among media are the constant problems in the creative process.
I tried to find the answers and tested my limits; meanwhile, I also tried to find a place in the sweet depths
of the unrealistic space where I could settle down and get on with my life.
隙：細胞與細胞之間，聽說是對等關係（對稱）
人與人之間的關係，心與心的距離、自己與自己的關係、感受與感受之間，
如果像細胞一樣，那是最好的結果，可是除了這種關係，上述的一切似乎不可能達到平衡，
過去的自己叫記憶，未來仍是一種幻想，這中間的距離是咫尺也是天涯，至於心與心的距離？
Gap：between cells and cells, I heard that it is an equal-to-equal relationship (symmetric).
It is the relationship between people, the distance between two hearts.
It is the relationship between you and yourself, between your own feelings.
If it were like cells, that could be the best result; however,
in addition to the relationship, all of the above seems impossible to achieve balance.
The past is called memory, and the future is still an illusion.
The distance between them is so close and yet so far.
As for the distance between two hearts?
隙？
傳統與現代之間，全球化之後的模糊界線，隙在乎？夾縫美學，必也正名乎？
無意經營自己成為約定俗成的專家，如果夾縫裡有空間，庖丁何樂不為？

Between tradition and modernity,
the blurring line after globalization, is there a gap?
The term of the aesthetics of the cracks must be justified?
I have no intention of making myself a so-called expert. But,
if there is a room in the crack, why should we not be happy about it?
我喜歡不斷的旅行，看似冒險，卻總發現驚喜。在城市與城市之間移動，
我的感動扮演著它們之間連繫的角色，「游」「隙」仍是我想要表現的美感經驗，也是分享的概念。
不忘初衷的追求簡約的張力，一如吾人最初的感動，虛擬世界與現實的分際是模糊的，
真真假假，速度讓異國風情與鄉愁漸漸消彌。
具象的抽象、抽象的具象是當代的一種面相，
也許你會想知道「隙」長什麼樣子！
I love to travel constantly, seemingly adventurous, but always find surprises.
Moving between cities, my emotions play a role in connecting them.
The concept of Roaming around gaps is the aesthetic experience I want to express and share.
Pursuing the tension of simplicity is my unchangeably original intention.
The boundary between the virtual world and reality is vague, the true mingled with the false,
which has made the exotic customs and nostalgia gradually fade away.
Figurative abstraction or abstract figuration is a contemporary aspect.
